Dear lovely people,
On Saturday 12 May, Jubilee Gardens in London will play host to a Nowhere picnic. It's going to be an afternoon of food, drink and enjoying what will hopefully be some Spring sunshine... and most importantly, it’s a chance to get excited about Nowhere and share it with others.
It's a fantastic chance to meet some of the team who help to co-ordinate volunteering, barrios, arts and a whole load of other projects at Nowhere, and to ask questions face to face or find out where to get some support or friendly advice about your project.
Lots of people from various barrios/camps will be there who can proffer advice if you’re trying to figure out what you need to bring or how to create a nice, cosy camp for yourself.
Everyone is welcome to attend and even if you aren't going Nowhere this year, please do come down for a lovely afternoon of riverside fun and good company.
The afternoon will kick off from 1pm, and we'll be there till 5pm.
Bring food, drinks, toys (hoops, sports gear, whatever you like) and bring your enthusiasm and excitement as we count down to our beautiful Nowhere...
If rain stops play, we will have a contingency plan – stay tuned!
The closest stations are Waterloo on the south side and Embankment just north of the river – walk along the river for a short distance on the south side and you’ll find Jubilee Gardens on your left. If you've reached the London Eye, you've gone too far. We will most likely be closer to the river than not.
If you get lost on the day, call 07944 161 774 – we’ll do our best to find you.
With lots of dusty love,
Lady Belle and the Nowhere crew xx
