Getting there

Getting Nowhere

You need to get yourself to and from the Nowhere site. Detailed instructions will be sent out in the survival guide closer to the time, and you can use the forums to arrange or offer ride shares.

Where is it?

Nowhere is in northern Spain, between Zaragoza and Lleida. The nearest villages are Castejón de Monegros (12km) and Sariñena (19km), and from both directions the last 10km is on gravel roads.

By plane

By Nowhere bus

Note: We hope to run a bus from Zaragoza, but this is dependent on Ryan Air confirming they will be running flights to Zaragoza this year. Until this is confirmed, we are only scheduling buses from Barcelona.

To Nowhere:

Monday 2 July
Depart 18.30/6.30pm Barcelona Sants (bus and train station)
Arrive 22.30/10.30pm Nowhere
Cost: 25 euros – includes a 50-minute shopping stop en route

Tuesday 3 July
Depart 16.00/4pm Barcelona Sants (bus and train station)

From Nowhere:

Depart 12.00/12pm Nowhere
Arrive 15.00/3pm Barcelona Sants (bus and train station)

By car

You can drive from the following cities:

  • Reus is 2.5 hours' drive to Castejón de Monegros (Reus airport has many UK regional flights, plus flights from Germany and Holland)
  • Barcelona is 3.5 hours' drive to Castejón de Monegros (with flights from most major international airports)
  • Pamplona is 3.5 hours' from Castejón de Monegros (Pamplona airport has flights from many Spanish airports)
  • Madrid is 4.5 hours' drive to Castejón de Monegros
  • Bilbao is 4.5 hours' drive to Castejón de Monegros

By train

If you’re travelling by train from Barcelona, catch the Zaragoza train and change at Lleida (aka Lerida):

There is no public transport to Castejón de Monegros. Also note that the Sariñena train station is over 1km from the centre of the town.


By public bus

Buses from Zaragoza to Sariñena
The new bus station (www.estacion-zaragoza.com) is on the ground floor at Zaragoza's train station Delicias. The bus company is ‘Autocares Therpasa’ (telephone: 976 22 57 23). The cost is about 6 euros each way, and the journey is about an hour and a quarter each way.

Zaragoza to Sariñena: Mon–Fri 13:00 and 20:00, Sat 13:00, Sun 18:00

Sariñena to Zaragoza:
Mon–Fri 07:00 and 15:00, Sat 08:00, Sun 20:00

Zaragoza to Castejon Mon-Fri 07:00 and 19:30 (not on fiesta days)

 

By taxi

You can catch a taxi to the site from Sariñena (approx 40 euros for four people, more if at the weekend or at night) or from Zaragoza airport (approx 80 euros for up to four people). You will find a taxi number in your survival guide (sent out closer to the time) to help arrange this.
