Well, they said to say "Hi" so that's what I'm doing.

I just got back from this year's Burning Man (my first) and am still reeling from it all. I joined the community through some friends of mine that help organize a Burners' event in the SD area (Elysium) this summer and haven't looked back since.

I didn't really get to hook up with the UK group at BM this year, but met a few Brits out on the Playa during moments of clarity.

I'll be back to Blighty in the next month or so and would always be ready to hook up with other burners in the SE. Is there a UK decomp/other events lined up?

Looking forward to meeting some of you guys and gals in the near future

London decom takes place, typically, first week in December, and is the biggest burner event this side of the Atlantic. Keep and eye on www.euroburners.org for details, and also sign up for some of the mailing lists on there to keep informed of whats happening. Planning for Decom will begin shortly I believe.

Sadly it looks like I will be in China then, I can't believe that I am going to miss every decomp by about 2 days (LA, SD, London). Grrrrr. Thanks for the link though. I'm sure that I'll be able to hook up with some of you between now and the next Burn/Nowhere. something to look forward to.

Depending on how mobile you are, there is also the Italian decom the weekend of the 10th Oct, and in November theres decoms in Paris and Dublin I believe.

All change at this end. Looks like I will be at LA decomp afterall unfortunately I'll still miss all the Euro events. However, have hooked up with some Euroburners in Hong Kong, so will point them in the direction of Nowhere.
