My name's Aran, and I'm responsible for Nowhere's power grid during the event. I've got red hair, I'm an engineer, like hugs, play with fire lots and helped build the wind turbine from last year's Nowhere. I wonder if we've met already?
I'm looking for some help: I need one volunteer per day of the event (6 in total), to be a POWER RANGER. This would involve one person per day wearing a cape and a walkie talkie, and looking after the power grid at Nowhere, for 24 hours.
This is a pretty awesome job - no previous experience with electrical power needed (knowing how to wire a plug is a bonus, but everything will be explained), just a good head for problem-solving, and a willingness to be on-call for one day during the event. You'll be given all the info you need on-site, and myself and others will be on-call too to help out if anything serious occurs, or if you need a hand. Did I mention the awesome cape?
Duties involve: diagnosing and sorting out any electrical problems that may come up, resetting fuses and refuelling the generator.
Interested? We need 6 people to apply (one per day of the event) ASAP! SO get involved and give me a reply if you want to volunteer, and participate in the infrastructure behind Nowhere, in an involving, greatly helpful and important manner, for just one day of the event (oh yeah, you can still do stuff and enjoy Nowhere whilst on duty, you would just need to stay sober and have a walkie talkie with you whilst you chill out or party on down.)
Email me if interested, and we'll go from there! Please
Hugs,
Aran
