Nowhere barrios in 2010

Nowhere 2010 sees many favourite barrios returning, as well as many new barrios evolving. Some are open to new members and welcome those who want to contribute, camp and eat with them; others are only open to previous members.

EatYourArtOut is providing meals for artists at Nowhere. We have an amazing kitchen courtesy of Messy, and some old and new Nowhere folk getting together to build this new camp. If you're an artist who would like to be fed during setup and take-down, then please get in contact. We're also looking for new camp members, especially those who can be onsite early and stay late. Mad Max meets Tank Girl! Domed communal area with a strong metal theme running through it. Blacksmith's forge, metal workshops, 10ft high Slovakian fire bird, huge church bell mounted on a cradle, a suspension from the highest point of Nowhere. Party like rock stars!!

We're not an open camp. People may camp with us but sort their own food and supplies.

aROCKalypse: Nautical Edition

Sailing the seven seas of sin, we return from our world voyage ship-shape and Bristol fashion.

Our mission: to civilise the barbaric hordes of Nowhere. For man is more than ape.

The church and crypt return, arriving on a golden clipper, buoyant with contraband rum and specimens of life from distant lands.

We give you parties, book readings, baptism, star navigation, hair cutting and the return of the sports day!

The ship is full: we're not open to new members.

Building and sustaining a haven for healing in the midst of the extreme weather of the Monegros. We seek to provide a space where people can grow, learn, share, practice and cultivate. Meditation classes, groups and healing exchanges running throughout the event.

Seeking 30 members. The camp fees will be 80€.

Paradisihamac is the paradise of hammocks (hamacs in French), so if you want to sleep or take a break above the ground, slowly swinging, it is the place for you.

Looking for collaborators. We have room for another six hammocks. Not only swingers are accepted, also artists who want to help and want to decorate a peaceful place... and you're welcome.

Garden of Epicurus

The mindblowing Italian camp is back with a new project: the path will be to follow the Ur-idea of Epicurus and his beautiful garden.

People will find a major chill out space where detachment, hedonism and head-to-head conversation will meet in playful interaction...

We'll have striking visuals and two artistic projects within our barrio: the 'Fountain of Manu Sol' and the 'Desire Incarnation Station and Giving Tree'.

The comfiest camp at Nowhere – bringing you the world-famous cocoon, the camp that likes to say yes is expanding for 2010 with an all-new all-day middle eastern tea room, where you can kick back, escape the heat and choose from 19 flavours of shisha, with plenty of chilled tunes to enjoy.

The Macaroni Club

We are a merry troupe of friends who have banded together to found the Macaroni Club. Our Polychromatic Peepshow will involve nightly themed cinematic expeditions to the far corners of your imagination. We'll provide a haven for the lost party-weary souls that wander our way ,with cushy seating under the stars, shisha and tea.

Babycham

The exclusively camp camp at Nowhere for fags and hags, dedicated to silly things which require little or no effort.  We have a venue, the megandome, which we allow other groups to have parties in. We also have a sound system and generator, and this year also a new shade structure. This year we shall also have the sky bar, which is situated on the 104th floor of the Julio Iglesias Tower, and maybe a revolving restaurant!

Swiss Miss ChocolateHaus

Not a true barrio, we're a chocolate haus, serving hot chocolate at random hours, when we feel like it and if you are nice... we might have a chocolate fountain.
