Get involved
Nowhere is made by you
There are countless ways to get involved, including:
- arriving early for build or staying for clean up
- making and bringing art
- bringing an outrageous outfit or creating one at Costume Camp (the crazier, the better – go on, go nuts!)
- volunteering for a shift at Malfare, No Info or Gate
- making music
- running a workshop
- being the much-loved one who cooks breakfast and gets the coffee on
Volunteering for a shift or working on a project is a great way of getting to know the community – and, of course, it’s awesome fun. Honest!
There are oodles of volunteer shifts that need to be filled during the festival, from welcoming people as they arrive to helping in our information desk (No Info) to helping with our welfare/medical team (Malfare). We also have pre-event roles like helping with building, feeding our hard-working volunteers and 'fluffing' (making sure everyone is well looked after with water, sunscreen etc) and post-event roles like making sure we leave no trace and everything gets packed safely away in storage. There are even year-round roles like helping with the website.
You can volunteer for a single shift (around six hours) or you can volunteer to take on a specific role.
Where do I sign up?
