Tickets – what the FAQ!?
I bought my ticket – what happens next?
You’ll get an email welcoming you to Nowhere and explaining some information about the event. The Nowhere survival guide (which includes directions to the event) will be posted to you if you live in Europe (excluding Italy & Lithuania) or North America, or emailed to you if you live elsewhere, a few weeks before the festival.
Where’s my ticket?
You have to print out your ticket and bring it with you. If you missed this option when you bought the ticket, click on the link in your confirmation email, then look at the top right for a 'Print my ticket' button. DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR TICKET WITH YOU!!
I don’t need my ticket any more. What should I do?
If you bought your ticket in the last 24 hours, please contact Brown Paper Tickets directly and you may get a refund. Otherwise, there is a no-return policy for Nowhere full-price tickets, but you can sell your ticket to someone else. If you’re looking for a buyer, advertise it on the forums, Nowhere and Burner mailing lists, Facebook etc. Email
if you no longer need a low income ticket.
I’ve given/sold my ticket to someone else – now what do I do?
As long as you've given them your printed out ticket - nothing.
Can I get a low-income ticket?
We ask that everyone pays what they can afford, but if you’re not in paid full-time work you might qualify for a low-income ticket. Email
to apply, explaining your situation. If you qualify, you’ll be emailed a code to enter into the ‘Members code’ box on the Brown Paper Tickets page. There’s only one code per person.
Is it possible for disabled participants to bring their carer? / Is it possible for a deaf participant to bring a sign interpreter?
For those who live with limitations, such as hearing impairment, physical disability, or other conditions that require additional consideration, we offer concessionary tickets for their companions. A Companion is any person who, by attending the event, enables another person to participate, volunteer or share their art. Please email
to arrange this.
For more information, or to address any questions regarding abilities/disabilities/deaf participants at Nowhere, please email

Why do you use Brown Paper Tickets?
We’ve found the e-ticket system works best for us, and have used Brown Paper Tickets for a couple of years. We also like the fact they are cheap, and that they donate to charities.
