HOW TO LIVE IN WERKHAUS DURING SET UP AND/OR STRIKE?

Werkhaüs is the living space of everybody working with NOrg during set up & strike.

  • create an account on FIST
  • sign up for NOrg set-up and/or strike crew (choose your duration, choose your team(s))
  • wait for validation (& your early entry)
    validation received? congratulations! you will be part of Werkhaüs as long as you are involved with one of the teams operating during set-up or/and strike.
    BEWARE: living with Werkhaüs during set up or strike doesn’t mean you automatically join Werkhaüs during the event (as a barrio). you will have to register.

HOW TO JOIN US DURING THE EVENT?

werkhaus is a home for workers, and common CRITERIAS —-

  • a year round role at nowhere
  • set up / strike for a minimum of 7 days
  • minimum of 20h norg shifts during event
    –– is not all this year, we are asking the community (meaning you) to SUGGEST how people should get accepted at werkhaus. check questions
    *if you are combining one or more of these: well done! we love your werk! and try to not die!

ADMISSION STEPS:

  • create your profile on FIST
  • pre-registration
  • receive confirmation
  • fill out the real registration
  • pay your fees
  • sign up for barrio shifts (yes more work)

IN EXCHANGE OF YOUR FEES AND HARD WORK YOU WILL HAVE ACCESS TO:

a proletarian hub

a large shade

a comfy siesta space

a space for your tent

showers

three meals per day & snacks

water for the entire event

two beers / sangria / soft a day (and more if you want it)

a communal bar
